We want NorthPoint Kids to be a place your child loves and can’t wait to come back to! We want it to be a place where kids are known, welcomed, and reminded every week that God loves them, is for them, and is always available to them. Through age-appropriate Bible teaching, meaningful relationships, and a whole lot of fun, we’re guiding kids toward a growing relationship with Jesus and a faith they can carry with them wherever they go. And because we believe faith begins at home, we want to come alongside you as you help your child know and follow Jesus.
NorthPoint Kids (Every Sunday)
Infants – 5th Grade: 8:45 & 10:30 AM
Missy and her husband, Ian, live in Johnston with their three kids and love playing and watching sports together as a family. When she’s not cheering from the sidelines, you can usually find Missy outside on a walk or run with their dog. Missy and her family came to NorthPoint in 2021, and she joined the staff the following year. She loves serving the families of NorthPoint Kids and especially enjoys watching volunteers use their gifts to build meaningful relationships with kids and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Jenna loves spending time with her husband Cameron and their three kids. They love being outside, whether they’re playing at the park, bike riding, or just enjoying time as a family. Jenna grew up in Urbandale and has been attending NorthPoint with her family since 2025. She joined the staff in January 2026. Jenna loves creating a warm and welcoming environment in NorthPoint Kids where every family feels like they belong. Her favorite part of Sunday mornings is seeing kids excited to be at church, building friendships, and feeling at home in their classrooms.
Meredith and her husband Ben live in West Des Moines with their two sons. They love reading books, watching sports, and spending quality time with family. Meredith and Ben have been
attending NorthPoint since 2021, and she joined the Kids Ministry Team in 2025. As a former public school teacher, Meredith has a passion for helping children learn and building
meaningful relationships. She loves having conversations with families and ensuring that the feel welcomed.
